Genifer Cox has been a dedicated caregiver for 4 years and has held her CNA certification for the past 2 years. Her passion for helping others truly shines through in everything she does.
Outside of work, Genifer loves spending time outdoors—especially paddleboarding in the summertime. She even brings her dog along for the ride! She’s also happily married to her best friend, Austin.

“My favorite part of caregiving is getting to know someone and learning so much about them. Sometimes you spend more time caring for clients than you do with your own family, and it really makes you realize how much work and love CNAs everywhere put into what they do. Your clients truly become your family.
I love caregiving because even when I’m not at work, I see things in my everyday life that remind me of my clients—past and present. They teach me so much about life, things I would have never learned if I hadn’t met them.
Another one of my favorite parts is getting to know my clients’ families and hearing their stories—about their travels, their careers, and their lives. I love caregiving because I truly feel like I’m making a difference.”
